Nikhil Ram is the Principal Solicitor and founder of Luma Lawyers, where he blends extensive legal experience with a compassionate approach to client services. Prior to his move to Australia, Nikhil practised in the fields of criminal and family law in India. His journey continued in Australia, gaining valuable experience at both private law firms and community legal centres, ultimately leading to the establishment of Luma Lawyers, a firm known for its inclusive and practical legal support. Nikhil's practice areas are diverse, encompassing family law, domestic violence, criminal law, conveyancing, migration matters, business and not-for-profit concerns, in addition to wills and estates. He is highly regarded for his approachable demeanour, respectful communication style, and unwavering commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all clients. His ability to connect with clients from varying backgrounds is enhanced by his fluency in Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil. His academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from QUT, a Master of Human Rights from Curtin University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Nikhil has held positions as a solicitor with firms such as Bhardwaj and Associates and Davey Law, gaining experience in areas including prenuptial agreements, property settlements, parenting matters, DV applications, and mediations.
