Andrew Pye is a distinguished Partner at McCarthy Durie Lawyers, where he leads the Property and Commercial team based in Brisbane. Admitted to practice in 2007, Andrew has been with the firm since 2006, after completing two years of Articles at Gilshenan & Luton Lawyers. He was appointed Director in January 2011. Andrew's expertise is bolstered by a unique background in law and accounting, complemented by over 13 years of experience as a business owner. Prior to his legal career, he successfully managed a financial planning and management firm as well as a marketing company, providing him with an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by small to medium-sized enterprises. This experience translates into a practical, commercial approach to legal matters. Recognised for his client-first philosophy, Andrew is dedicated to addressing client needs promptly and effectively. His practice covers clients across Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Swinburne University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Queensland. He is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, and a member of the Queensland Law Society.
