Nica Millerson is the Principal at Millerson Dufek Lawyers, bringing over 15 years of experience in the legal industry. Her career spans serving in both small general practices and national, top-tier law firms, with a current focus on property law, particularly within the seniors living and retirement village sector. Nica's expertise includes acting for both leading operators in the retirement industry and residents transitioning into retirement villages. She provides invaluable support by advising residents on the key terms of their contracts and guiding them through the entire process to settlement. Nica’s dedication to the property and retirement industry is reflected in her active role with the Property Council of Australia’s 100 Women in Property, and her frequent presentations on retirement living legislation. Her previous tenure as a Senior Associate at MinterEllison further honed her abilities as she acted for market leaders in the senior living space, advising operators on successful village operations and development. Earlier in her career, Nica developed her foundational legal skills as a Solicitor at Ellison Moschella & Co. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, both from Griffith University.
