Tim Mills

Tim Mills is the Principal Solicitor and Director of Mills Lawyers, a firm that merged with Rigelsford Jensen & Co in Annandale, NSW, in November 2016. He brings extensive expertise in property, commercial, and business law. His tenure as in-house counsel has given him a commercial perspective on corporate challenges, which he adeptly imparts to his clients. Tim's professional focus encompasses property law, including conveyancing, commercial leasing, and option agreements, as well as sale of business and various commercial agreements such as supplier, distribution, and IT contracts. He is well-versed in banking and finance documentation, company secretarial duties involving shareholder, joint venture, and partnership agreements, employment law, and estate management. Before establishing Mills Lawyers, Tim was the Legal Counsel at the Leading Edge Group, where he led the legal and risk functions, crafted member and supplier agreements, managed employment contracts, and provided guidance on debt and lease matters. At Sakkara, Tim advised on residential contracts for development and managed due diligence for retirement village sales. Earlier in his career at CPT Lawyers, he focused on commercial, corporate, and property law. Tim holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Land Economics (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney. He completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and Legal Practice Management at the College of Law Australia. Outside the legal arena, Tim maintains a keen interest in the thoroughbred industry, cycling, and football.
