Chris Booth

Chris Booth is the Founder and Managing Director of Mint Legal, a firm he established in 2018, bringing over two decades of legal experience to his role. Admitted to practice law in Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor since 2002 and as a Solicitor in England and Wales since 2005, Chris has accumulated a wealth of diverse knowledge in corporate, commercial, property, and private client legal services. His career spans a variety of settings, including inhouse, local government, and private practice at firms ranging from small to top tier, both locally and internationally. In addition to leading Mint Legal, Chris serves as an honorary solicitor for St Vincent de Paul and is an active member of the WA Law Society Property Law Committee and Commercial Law Committee. His ability to handle complex corporate and commercial legal matters is complemented by a strategic and results-driven approach, ensuring clients receive effective solutions at competitive rates. Chris's professional journey includes significant roles at several prestigious firms. He was Principal at MDS Legal and Bennett + Co, where he specialised in corporate and commercial law. His earlier experience as a Senior Associate at Bennett + Co and Logie-Smith Lanyon Lawyers provided a solid foundation in these areas. Chris's international experience is further evidenced by his time as a Solicitor at Michelmores in the UK, focusing on commercial property, corporate matters, and insolvency and reconstruction. He also honed his expertise in commercial property during his tenure at Eversheds, another renowned UK firm. In the early stages of his career, Chris developed his legal acumen at Ward Keller, dealing in commercial litigation. Educated at The University of Western Australia and Charles Darwin University, Chris Booth's commitment to the legal profession is unwavering, demonstrated through his ongoing contributions and leadership within the legal community.
