Matthew Morgan serves as the Principal of our firm, leading the commercial division with expertise honed over more than two decades. Admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia, Matthew combines his legal acumen with a robust understanding of various industries. He advises clients in sectors such as building and construction, hotel and leisure, management consultation, fashion, and product design and manufacture. His approach to legal counsel emphasises clarity and straightforwardness, ensuring that advice is tailored to align seamlessly with a client's business objectives and operational nuances. Matthew has been at the helm of Morgan Alteruthemeyer since 2004, steering its growth and establishing its reputation for comprehensive commercial legal services. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Industrial Relations from the University of Western Australia. His educational background and extensive experience equip him to navigate complex legal landscapes, providing clients with informed and effective legal strategies.
