Mark Mortimore

Mark Mortimore, a partner at Mortimore & Associates, has been a prominent figure in the Gold Coast legal community since 1978. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland in 1984 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland shortly thereafter. Mark began his legal career with McLaughlin Gordon Lennon in 1985, becoming a partner just two years later. In 1994, he founded Mortimore & Associates, where he continues to serve as a key leader. Mark brings extensive experience in commercial law, having worked with numerous prominent developers, entrepreneurs, and businesses. His expertise spans a variety of areas including the preparation of contractual documents for the acquisition and sale of property, such as shopping centres, development land, unit developments, and resorts. He is also adept in commercial and retail leasing, business and share acquisitions, providing advice on the Foreign Investment Review Board, and handling commercial litigation.
