Her comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape includes handling rulings requests, tax audits, and voluntary disclosures. Recognised as a Chartered Tax Adviser by the Taxation Institute of Australia and holding membership in the Society of Trustees and Estate Practitioners, Emma maintains an unrestricted practising certificate with the Law Society of New South Wales. Emma began her career in London with Gouldens, working in commercial litigation, which laid a strong foundation for her subsequent roles in Sydney, including a stint at Eakin McCaffery Cox. Her transition into tax law commenced in 2001 with Kevin Munro & Associates, and she has been a pivotal member of Munro Lawyers since 2007. Holding an LLM in Taxation and an LLB from the University of Sydney, along with a Bachelor of Music, Emma balances her legal career with personal passions, including a love for chamber music and playing the violin.
