Raelene Webb KC is a distinguished Senior Counsel with a national practice in appellate advocacy, native title, mining, administrative, constitutional, and taxation law. With over 20 years of experience as a barrister, Raelene's expertise led to her appointment as President of the National Native Title Tribunal from 2013 to 2018, a testament to her standing as one of Australia's foremost native title silks. She has made significant contributions in the High Court, participating in landmark constitutional and land rights cases, and is one of the few women to regularly present oral arguments before the court. An acclaimed mediator and skilled facilitator, Raelene holds national accreditation and has extensive experience working with diverse groups across Australia, employing collaborative techniques to achieve shared goals. Her passion for education is evident through her involvement in advocacy training courses and guest lectures at universities in Australia and Canada. Raelene is a fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and was honoured with the Law Council of Australia President’s Medal in 2014 for her outstanding contributions to the legal profession. Currently based at Murray Chambers in Perth, she also serves as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Professor at Southern Cross University and Curtin University, respectively. Her impressive career includes serving as President of the Northern Territory Bar Association and as a member of the Indigenous legal issues committee at the Law Council of Australia. Raelene's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and an LLB from the University of Adelaide and the University of Queensland. Her commitment to community service is highlighted by her past presidency of Riding for the Disabled NT Inc.
