Karin Temperley leads TEAK Legal & Consulting in Bendigo, delivering expert legal services across Central Victoria and the Loddon Mallee region. Her journey in law began after completing a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne, followed by a Masters in Development and Gender Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Anthropology and Social Theory. Karin's extensive experience includes her role as Principal Solicitor at John Boundy Legal, where she has served since May 2024. Prior to this, she was the Principal Solicitor at TEAK Legal & Consulting, and a Senior Solicitor at Cahills Barristers & Solicitors. Her deep commitment to criminal law is evident from her tenure at Victoria Legal Aid, where she served clients across Melbourne, Broadmeadows, Bendigo, and Warrnambool. Her early career was marked by significant contributions as a volunteer paralegal at the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women and as a legal intern at UNAKRT in Cambodia.
