Laura Thurston is a seasoned lawyer with over a decade of diverse experience in the legal field. Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2010, Laura brings a strategic and direct approach to resolving legal issues, effectively representing business owners, private clients, property investors, and developers across a myriad of disputes. Her passion lies in navigating the intricacies of complex commercial litigation, which demands detailed planning, extensive legal acumen, and frequent court appearances. Laura expertly advises clients in all state and federal courts, as well as in tribunals and private settings such as arbitration. Her professional journey includes her role as Special Counsel at Noonan-Crowe Lawyers, where she has been contributing her expertise in alternative dispute resolution and commercial litigation since 2024. Prior to this, Laura served as the Head of Practice for Dispute Resolution at Cullen Macleod for over 14 years. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History from the University of Notre Dame Australia, along with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law Australia. She further honed her leadership skills through the Western Australian Legal Practice Management Course at the College of Law.
