Rosemary Norgate

Rosemary Norgate, an Accredited Family Law Specialist and co-founder of Pigdon | Norgate Family Lawyers, brings over 25 years of legal experience to her practice. She is a skilled mediator and collaboratively trained lawyer, known for her expertise in handling complex financial and parenting matters. Rosemary serves on the Law Society of NSW’s Family Law Specialist Accreditation Committee and is a board member of The Buttery, a not-for-profit addiction and mental health organisation. Rosemary is recognised as a leading family lawyer who offers strategic, conflict-minimising advice and has extensive experience in cases involving complex corporate and trust structures. Although highly experienced in litigation, she prioritises resolution through negotiation, mediation, and collaborative law, building strong client relationships based on trust and clear communication. A dedicated mentor to emerging lawyers at Pigdon | Norgate, Rosemary also supports pro bono work through the Law Society of NSW’s Pro Bono Scheme. She is a former president of Collaborative Professionals NSW.
