About Patrick
Patrick Donnellan OAM has forged a distinguished career in law since his admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1970. A graduate of Sydney University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1966 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1970, Patrick further expanded his academic credentials with a Master of Arts from the University of New South Wales, specialising in French, alongside earning the Diplôme Supérieur de Français des Affaires. Throughout his illustrious career, he has practised in various judicial arenas, including the Land and Valuation Court, the Local Government Appeals Tribunal, and the Land and Environment Court. His legal acumen spans appearances in every level of court, from the High Court of Australia to the local jurisdictions, with a profound dedication to Local Government Law, particularly in planning and environmental law. Patrick's expertise is further underscored by his accreditation in Local Government and Planning Law, and his role as an accredited mediator, a qualification he secured through Bond University in 2011. His vast experience and dedication continue to be invaluable assets to our firm and our clients.
