Juan Perez

Juan Perez is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Quest Legal, bringing over 24 years of experience in law and business leadership. He advises on commercial, intellectual property, franchising, finance, and employment law matters. Juan draws on more than 15 years in executive roles, including advising financial institutions on regulatory engagement. Notably, he led the consolidation of banking licences for two of Australia’s largest banks and managed key product remediation as well as anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing programmes. He also contributed to the Royal Commission response team at a major regional bank. Since establishing his private practice over 12 years ago, Juan has integrated his extensive corporate experience with a growth-oriented approach to assist Quest’s clients. He is committed to delivering personalised, practical, and commercially focused advice that supports both business objectives and regulatory compliance. Outside of work, Juan enjoys practising martial arts and spending quality time with his family.
