Emily Angwin is a seasoned partner with significant expertise in managing and advising on statutory insurance claims and litigation. Her practice encompasses working with employers, insurers, and individuals across a range of matters, including Workers Compensation and Coal Mines Insurance. Emily began her tenure at Rankin Ellison in 2012 and, after gaining experience in claims management and return-to-work strategies in the mining sector interstate, she rejoined the firm in 2016. Her broad jurisdictional experience includes proceedings in the Workers Compensation Commission, as well as the Local, District, Supreme, and High Courts, and the Court of Appeal. Emily has achieved success at the appellate level within both the Workers Compensation Commission and the Court of Appeal, making her well-versed in complex litigated and non-litigated issues. She is dedicated to formulating effective strategies tailored to each client's needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes for insurers and employers.
