Tony Joyce

Tony Joyce is a highly experienced lawyer at Ryan Commercial Lawyers, renowned for his expertise in the fields of Liquor, Gaming, and Hospitality law. With a career spanning several decades, Tony holds the distinction of being the most senior practising lawyer in Victoria in these areas. His extensive knowledge is augmented by his past role as a Member of the Liquor Control Commission of Victoria, the forerunner to the present Liquor Control Victoria. Tony has consistently represented a diverse range of clients involved in all facets of Liquor, Gaming, and Hospitality. Tony's experience also extends to residential and commercial property matters, where he adeptly handles retail and commercial leases, financing, wills, and probate. His adept handling of Powers of Attorney, both as an advisor and executor, serves companies and private clients with precision and care. His contributions to the community resonate through his pro bono advisory role to the late Father Bob Maguire OAM, which he maintained for over 45 years. Tony has also dedicated significant time to VGC, having joined in 1981 and served as their honorary lawyer for over four decades.
