Robert Toth

Robert Toth serves as Special Counsel at Sanicki Lawyers, bringing over 35 years of legal experience to the firm. Having commenced his legal career in 1982, Robert is an Accredited Commercial and Franchise Specialist known for his pragmatic approach and dedication to finding innovative solutions for his clients. His extensive expertise spans franchising, company and corporate advice, mergers and acquisitions, retail and commercial leasing, and various contractual matters. He has a particular focus on franchising, acting for both local and international franchisors and franchisees, and is well-versed in franchise dispute resolution and mediation. Robert's career includes significant roles such as a consultant at Marsh & Maher Richmond Bennison Lawyers and a partner at Wisewould Mahony Lawyers, where he led the Corporate and Commercial Group and was head of the franchise practise. He also ran his own firm, Toth and Company Lawyers, which catered to major business clients. His work has taken him beyond Australia, aiding international companies in establishing operations domestically. In addition to his legal practice, Robert is active in the franchising and renewable energy sectors, advising as a board member and resident director for foreign companies. He holds memberships with the Franchise Council of Australia, International Franchise Lawyers Association, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
