Chaz Dheer

Chaz has amassed substantial international experience, involving complex deals such as an IPO of a technology company on the London Stock Exchange, various public takeovers, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and high-value sales including a well-known television format. His expertise extends to commercial contracts, private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital raising, and negotiating significant contracts in the energy and resources sector. He has developed templates and processes for clients, facilitating smoother operations and legal compliance. Chaz is currently a Principal at Scope Legal and has led his practice, Chaz Dheer Legal, since 2014. His previous roles include Director at Australian Business Lawyers, Lead Corporate Counsel at Marque Lawyers, and Partner at Simons Muirhead & Burton. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Solicitor at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain. Chaz holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing golf, staying fit, cooking adventurous meals, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
