Jennifer Brook

Jennifer Brook is a seasoned litigation lawyer and serves as a Director at Sedsman Legal. Known for her sensible and pragmatic approach, Jennifer excels in probate and estate law. Her practice encompasses representation of individuals, companies, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries, as well as the Public Trustee. She handles a wide array of cases including family provision claims, probate matters, will disputes, statutory will applications, power of attorney issues, and guardianship matters. Jennifer has a particular interest in resolving disputes outside of court, appreciating the benefits of mediation and settlement in reducing time, stress, and expense for her clients. Jennifer brings extensive experience to her role, having previously served as a Senior Associate at O'Loughlins Lawyers for a decade, and held positions at Peter Fisher Lawyers and FRS Legal. Her career began at FRS Legal as a law clerk, progressing to solicitor, and later bringing her expertise to Sedsman Legal. With a foundational education from Flinders University, graduating with honours in Law, and additional training through the Insolvency Practitioners Association, Jennifer is well-equipped to handle complex legal matters. In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer has been an active member of the Law Society of South Australia's Succession Law Committee since 2017, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field of succession law.
