Anna D'Addona

Anna D'Addona is an accomplished legal practitioner with extensive experience in family law, which she has dedicated herself to since 2005. Her journey began as a Deputy Associate to a Federal Magistrate, and she was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2008. Since then, Anna has gained a wealth of experience by working with both boutique and reputable law firms, as well as Legal Aid NSW, throughout Sydney and regional areas such as Parramatta and the Hawkesbury. Anna became an Accredited Family Law Specialist in 2018 through the Law Society of NSW and is also an accredited mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and Parenting Coordinator. Her expertise is further enriched by her role as an Independent Children’s Lawyer during her time in private practice and Legal Aid. From 2020 to 2025, she was a Judicial Registrar at the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia, where she handled high conflict and high-risk cases, managed case lists, and dealt with a range of contested matters. Her training in domestic and family violence and trauma-informed practice is particularly noteworthy. In 2025, Anna's career took a significant step forward when she was appointed as a Senior Member (Legal) in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, where she presides over cases in the protective jurisdiction of Guardianship. Her commitment to education is demonstrated through her role as a Casual Academic and Unit Coordinator in Advanced Family Law at Western Sydney University.
