Renee Stockley

Renee Stockley serves as the Founder and Managing Director of Serein Family Law, a firm she established in Brighton in 2021. With a vision to deliver exceptional family law services across Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs and beyond, Renee brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to her practice. An Accredited Family Law Specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria, her practice encompasses all facets of family law, particularly excelling in complex financial and parenting matters, as well as international family law. Renee's legal journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from Monash University. Her early career saw her honing her skills in a mid-tier commercial law firm before dedicating her focus exclusively to family law. Over the course of more than a decade, Renee contributed significantly at some of Melbourne’s foremost family law firms, where she was mentored by leading figures in the industry. Her expertise and dedication have not gone unnoticed, earning her the title of Rising Star of Family Law in Melbourne by Doyle’s Guide for three consecutive years. Her commitment to international family law led to her fellowship with the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers in 2021, a distinguished achievement shared by only 15 family law solicitors in Melbourne. Renee also actively contributes to the legal community, holding a position on the Law Institute of Victoria’s Family Law Section Executive Committee and maintaining memberships in the Family Law Sections of the Law Institute of Victoria and Law Council of Australia. Her previous roles include key positions at Clancy & Triado and Taussig Cherrie Fildes Lawyers, further solidifying her reputation as a knowledgeable and respected figure in the family law arena.
