Michael Steinfeld

Michael Steinfeld brings over 35 years of extensive experience as a general legal practitioner, adeptly handling a diverse array of legal and commercial matters from his suburban practice in Kingsford, Sydney. His expertise spans across family law, conveyancing, probate and wills, local court criminal matters, personal injury, and workers compensation. Michael has built a broad client base, catering to the needs of individuals and small businesses alike. Having attended various courts throughout New South Wales, Michael has been involved in litigation pertaining to wills, family disputes, and minor criminal matters. In 1994, he earned the distinction of being an accredited specialist in personal injury, though he relinquished this title in 2020 to focus more intently on conveyancing, commercial affairs, as well as wills and estates. Michael has been a stalwart supporter of the Kingsford Legal Centre for over 35 years, providing invaluable assistance to their clients while offering work experience training to law students. His dedication to volunteering has not gone unnoticed; he has been honoured by the Combined Legal Centre in 2004, and received recognition from the NSW Centre for Volunteering in both 2008 and 2009. His commitment culminated in receiving the 2011 NSW Community Legal Centre Justice Award for his sustained voluntary service at the Kingsford Legal Centre spanning more than 27 years. Accruing numerous community awards for his volunteer efforts, Michael is now gradually winding down his practice and focusing on select cases, continuing to contribute his wealth of knowledge and experience to his community.
