Her criminal law expertise was further honed at Aitken Whyte Lawyers. Earlier roles at the Aboriginal Family Legal Service Southern Queensland and as a legal transcriptionist and court monitor provide her with a broad perspective on legal processes. Her educational background is robust, with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland. Jessica also holds a Master of Arts in Writing, Editing, and Publishing from The University of Queensland, further complemented by a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Art History.
