Richard Ung

Richard Ung is a distinguished legal professional serving as the Principal at VanderFox, based in Sydney. With extensive experience in taxation, family law, estate planning, migration law, and general litigation, Richard has adeptly represented both commercial and private clients in various prestigious courts including the Supreme Court of NSW, Family Court, Federal Circuit Court, and the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal. His thought leadership in tax was also demonstrated through presentations for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and publications with the Tax Institute of Australia. Richard's foundational legal journey commenced at a Sydney Law Firm where he served as a Law Clerk and Solicitor. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Accounting) from Macquarie University, reflecting his dual proficiency in law and finance.
