Lee Shearer

Lee Shearer serves as a Senior Consultant Solicitor at Umbrella Legal, bringing a distinguished career in both legal practice and high-level public service. With over a decade dedicated to the NSW Police, Lee excelled as Assistant Commissioner of the Northern Region, honing expertise in law enforcement and strategic leadership. Her legal acumen extends further, having held pivotal roles as Principal Solicitor and General Counsel. Lee's extensive experience spans significant government positions, notably at the NSW Department of Industry, NSW Planning & Environment, Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council, and Crown Cemeteries NSW. Her leadership is complemented by strategic involvement in various boards and committees, including the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese Protection and Safety Council and the Stand Committee for Assistance in Resolving Claims.
