Adam van Kempen

Adam van Kempen is the principal of BvK Solicitors & Attorneys, a well-established practice in Byron Bay with over three decades of service. He graduated with honours from Southern Cross University School of Law & Justice, earning a Bachelor of Laws. Before embracing his legal career, Adam spent his formative years on the Far North Coast of NSW, completing high school in Brisbane and Sydney. His diverse background includes a successful stint as a chef, operating restaurants and catering businesses in Sydney and serving as the Executive Chef at a prestigious hotel in China. In 2002, Adam transitioned into law, seamlessly merging his extensive first-hand small business experience with legal expertise upon returning to the Northern Rivers with his family. His dedication to the community is evident through his longstanding involvement with local organisations, including board roles at Sprung!! Integrated Dance Theatre Inc. and the Byron Writers Festival. Adam's strong commitment to his clients and the region underscores his comprehensive approach to legal practice.
