

Guy White is a highly experienced Senior Solicitor with a distinguished career spanning over four decades in the legal field. After completing his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide in 1980, he furthered his expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice the following year. He began his legal journey as an Associate to a Supreme Court Judge, a role that honed his skills in legal analysis and courtroom procedures. Admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1982, Guy commenced his practice in 1984 by joining White Berman, where his leadership and legal acumen led him to become a partner. Throughout his tenure, he played an integral role in managing the firm's operations across the Adelaide and Modbury offices. His legal insights have been instrumental in guiding clients through complex Family and De Facto property matters, children's issues, and estate planning, including Wills, Estates, Probate, and Inheritance claims. Guy is also well-versed in Powers of Attorney and Guardianship matters and has contributed to the field of Family Law Mediation, particularly in property disputes. In March 2020, Guy took the helm as Director of the firm, a position he held until January 2025, before transitioning to a Senior Solicitor role. In this capacity, he continues to provide valuable mentorship to the firm's current Director, Deidre Ryder, while maintaining his commitment to client representation. Guy's dedication to law is paralleled by his passion for mediation, evidenced by his accreditation from the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators. Outside of his professional activities, Guy enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and indulging in a round of golf.
