Christopher Whitelaw serves as the Principal and Legal Practice Director at Whitelaw Legal Group, a reputable firm based in Burnie, Tasmania. With an extensive career spanning over 30 years, he is highly regarded for his expertise in resolving commercial disputes through mediation, arbitration, and as a barrister. Christopher has built a distinguished reputation in business and commercial law, workplace and employment law, and family law. His practice also extends to building and construction disputes, estate and will disputes, intellectual property protection, and defamation law. After completing his Arts-Law degree at the Australian National University, where he engaged in various extracurricular activities such as skiing and contributing to the Law Student Magazine, Christopher went on to further his education with a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution at the University of Technology Sydney. His postgraduate studies focused on dispute resolution, copyright law, and administrative law.
