Vinson Luong, Principal of Axegal, brings a wealth of experience in property, corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution law. He works with a diverse clientele, including businesses, start-up founders, investors, and individuals across various industries in both Australia and Vietnam. His practice includes a particular focus on advising Visa 188 and Visa 132 investors on Foreign Investment Review Board laws. Vinson has been recognised by Lawyers Weekly with nominations for the 30 Under 30 Awards in 2022 and 2023. Prior to founding Axegal, Vinson honed his skills at respected national law firms such as Wotton + Kearney and Sparke Helmore Lawyers. Known for his responsiveness and strong understanding of commercial objectives, he collaborates closely with clients to develop effective strategies for achieving desired outcomes. Fluent in Vietnamese, he is committed to bridging cultural and legal gaps in his practice. Since February 2021, Vinson has led Axegal as Principal, focusing on property transactions, commercial dealings, and corporate matters. His role includes advising clients on the purchase and sale of properties and businesses, preparing various legal agreements, and representing clients in commercial and contractual disputes. Before Axegal, Vinson served as a Pro Bono Legal Consultant, providing legal advice on employment contracts and advisor agreements, particularly for Vietnamese start-ups. As a Solicitor at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, he worked on significant CTP and personal injury matters, advising major insurers and representing clients in court. His efforts at Polczynski Robinson Lawyers included debt recovery and insolvency litigation, alongside business development initiatives. Vincent’s legal career began with roles as a Paralegal at Wotton + Kearney and Gerard Malouf & Partners, where he gained extensive exposure to insurance practice, litigation, and client management. His foundational experience was further enriched by an internship at King & Wood Mallesons and management training with Jardine Matheson, providing him with a unique blend of legal and business acumen. Vinson holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance, Banking, and M&A, underpinning his robust legal practice with a strong commercial insight.
