Rebecca Bourke

Rebecca Bourke is a highly experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, registered with the Department of the Federal Attorney-General under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). As a nationally accredited mediator, Rebecca brings over 17 years of expertise in counselling, change management, and mediation. Her extensive work includes collaborations with individuals as well as major organisations such as BHP Billiton, Transport and Main Roads, and the Australian Institute of Sport. Her ability to handle complex discussions with a calm and effective approach makes her an invaluable asset in negotiating realistic and sustainable outcomes for her clients. Rebecca's professional journey is complemented by a strong educational foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Australia, set to be completed in 2023. Her qualifications also include a Diploma of Counselling from TAFE Queensland, an Advanced Diploma of Business from TAFE NSW, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the Business Enterprise Centre. Additionally, she has honed her skills at Bond University in mediation and as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Beyond her legal practice, Rebecca is dedicated to her community, having been elected as a local Councillor for the Surf Coast Shire Council, where she actively serves the public.
