Aman Grewal brings a unique blend of medical and legal expertise to his role as a Medico-Legal Associate within our esteemed Health & Medical Law team. His extensive background in emergency medicine, intensive care, and pre-hospital medicine allows him to swiftly assess the merit of client enquiries and guide the investigation of new matters. Aman's transition from a paramedic and clinician to a solicitor provides him with a comprehensive understanding of medical negligence cases, enabling him to deliver precise and insightful case management. Before his legal career, Aman had a distinguished tenure as a medical practitioner, ambulance clinician, educator, and manager, even serving in the Royal Australian Air Force Reserves. His clinical experience in aged care, emergency, and intensive care settings enriches his legal practice. Since being admitted as a legal practitioner in 2019, Aman has worked as both a plaintiff and defendant solicitor across various states and territories, including roles in government and community legal centres. His academic journey is marked by a research scholarship-based Master of Law, which includes a published book critically examining Australia's regulatory oversight of new-generation personalised medical devices. Aman also has extensive experience as a consultant, having assisted with complex medical negligence matters for several years before joining the firm full-time in 2025. Aman speaks Punjabi, Hindi, and Russian fluently, with a strong understanding of Urdu and Ukrainian, which enhances his ability to serve a diverse client base. Known for his meticulous and thoughtful approach, Aman is committed to helping clients understand the complexities of their situations and making a positive impact on those affected by medical and legal challenges.
