Liz Catton

Liz Catton is a distinguished Legal Practitioner and an Accredited Family Law Specialist with a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years. Recognised as a Leading Family and Divorce Lawyer for the Sunshine Coast on Doyle’s Guide since 2018, Liz has cemented her reputation as a trusted advisor in family law matters. Her career began in commercial and corporate law in Brisbane, where she was instrumental in significant legal reforms such as drafting the Water Act 2000. Liz has also served as an in-house counsel for notable financial institutions including NAB and the Australian Banking Industry Ombudsman. Since 2004, Liz has focused on providing family law advice across Central and South East Queensland, leveraging her diverse legal background. Her tenure as Co-Practice Group Leader in a national law firm prepared her well for founding Catton & Tondelstrand Lawyers.
