Benjamin Wilson is a dedicated Associate at the firm, focusing on family law. Recognised for his commitment to advocating for clients, Benjamin delivers compassionate and comprehensive legal support. Ben's career transition from teaching secondary English, Philosophy, and Religious Studies to law underscores his diverse skill set and deep understanding of human issues. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne in 2018 and was admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2019. Before his current role at DG Family Law, Ben honed his skills at Victoria Legal Aid, addressing complex parenting and family violence cases. His experience extends to the Children's Court, dealing with Child Protection matters, making him sensitive to the intricate challenges families face within the legal system, especially concerning child safety and wellbeing. Additionally, he has successfully facilitated the resolution of property disputes, always prioritising fair and swift settlements. In personal life, Ben is devoted to his family, balancing his professional commitments with raising four children alongside his wife, Melissa.
