Meaghan Smyth is a dedicated Family Lawyer practising from our Sunshine Coast office. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Griffith University. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Meaghan brings substantial experience and expertise to her role as a Senior Associate. Since joining Caloundra Family Lawyers in 2016, Meaghan has been committed to providing comprehensive legal services in all key areas of Family Law. Her practice encompasses children and parenting matters, child support arrangements including Binding Child Support Agreements, as well as property settlements for both married and domestic relationships, including same-sex partnerships. Well-versed in spousal and adult child maintenance applications, Meaghan also handles Binding Financial Agreements, whether they are needed before, during, or after the breakdown of a relationship, and navigates the complexities of divorce proceedings. Her previous role at Nevett Ford Ballarat further enriched her expertise, where she served as a Family Law Lawyer from 2007 to 2015.
