Paul Mac is a Partner with over 15 years of extensive legal experience, having honed his expertise at top-tier firms, including two of Perth’s leading national law entities and a global firm. Known for his strong professional relationships with premier accounting and advisory firms in Western Australia, Paul is a respected figure in commercial litigation, as well as restructuring and insolvency law. His work includes advising insolvency practitioners across the region on a variety of matters such as external administration, recovery of voidable transactions, corporate restructuring, and deeds of company arrangement. Recognised as one of Australia's Rising Stars for Insolvency and Reconstruction Law by the Chambers Global Guide, Paul's portfolio also encompasses advising on bank-related transactions, securities reviews, and complex administration disputes. Paul has played significant roles in numerous high-profile cases, including large-scale and intricate litigation, class actions, both local and international arbitrations, and commercial disputes in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia. As an advocate fluent in Cantonese, he regularly engages in all major courts across Australia. In addition to his legal practice, Paul contributes as an adjunct lecturer at The College of Law Australia and serves as an ex-officio legal consultant for Sudbury Community House. His past roles include serving as councillor for the Graduate Management Association of UWA and working as Special Counsel at Jackson McDonald, and Senior Associate positions at Lavan and Ashurst.
