Simon Creek

As Executive Chairman of HHG Legal Group, Simon Creek's leadership focuses on the firm’s expansion and its engagement in charitable and community initiatives through HHG Giving Back. His commitment to growing the mediation, family law, and agribusiness practices is central to his role. Simon's multifaceted career includes media, automotive, real estate, and horology projects. Since being admitted to practice in 1998, Simon has achieved significant recognition, including being named Western Australia Lawyer of the Year in 2017 by the Law Society of WA. His leadership contributed to HHG receiving the Attorney General’s Community Service Law Award through his initiative, HHG Giving Back. Simon's accolades include being an Australian Law Award and Australasian Law Award finalist and receiving runner-up for Managing Partner/Director of the Year and Legal Innovator of the Year. His impact was also highlighted in 2008 when he won a 40Under40 Business News Award for expanding HHG from eight to fifty staff members in four years, leading to numerous state and national awards. Elected to The Legal Practice Board of Western Australia in 2011 and re-elected in 2013, Simon has been a respected figure in the legal community. He served on the Council of the Law Society of Western Australia and is a member of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association of WA. As a founding member of Collaborative Professionals (WA) and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries, Simon’s influence extends across various professional organisations. Simon’s extensive legal experience includes positions at Haynes Robinson as Partner, Corrs Chambers Westgarth as Associate Solicitor, and HopgoodGanim Lawyers as an Articled Clerk and Solicitor. His academic credentials include a BA and LLB in Politics and Law from The University of Western Australia, completed in 1997.
