Gabriele Maluga

Dr iur. Gabriele Maluga is the esteemed Founding Director and Company Secretary of Janssen + Maluga Legal, with impressive expertise spanning over two decades. She excels in negotiating, litigating, and mediating corporate matters, adeptly representing both corporate entities and individuals, particularly in cases of catastrophic accidents. Her career took root in major US and British law firms, focusing on project finance before she established JML. An accredited authority in German criminal defence, Gabriele's Doctorate thesis delves into criminal law, particularly undercover agents, drawing on the jurisprudence of the European Court for Human Rights. Gabriele is a dual-qualified lawyer, practising as a Rechtsanwältin in Germany and as a solicitor in Western Australia. Her advisory prowess is extensively applied in cross-border catastrophic injury cases, commercial law, and both German and EU criminal law. Her corporate acumen is enriched by over 20 years in executive roles, notably as CEO of an international stainless-steel trading company. Her leadership extends to her tenure as an elected member of the Executive Committee for the Union des Avocats Européens and as President of the delegation for North-West Germany.
