Georgia Arya

Georgia Arya serves as a Director in our Hotels team, offering over 16 years of comprehensive experience in major projects and transactions across diverse regions, including Australia, the Middle East, East Africa, Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom, and America. Her work involves collaboration with numerous company boards, shareholders, and government entities, delivering sophisticated legal solutions. Previously, Georgia held the position of Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, where she managed the legal affairs for a group of companies, directing major projects and overseeing various business entities within their portfolios. Her expertise encompasses real estate and hotel development, including acquisition, sale and leasing, licensing and administration, as well as branding and hotel management. Georgia's combined experience in-house and within law firms provides her with a unique perspective on client engagement and the essential legal support required for companies. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University, Queensland. She has been admitted to practise in the Queensland Supreme Court since 2005 and is an active member of the Queensland Law Society. She has furthered her qualifications with a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Beyond her professional commitments, Georgia is passionate about maintaining fitness by attending circuit and spin classes. She also enjoys dining out and exploring global hotel experiences, indulging in her love for travel whenever possible.
