Dean Hely is the esteemed Managing Partner of Lavan and a dedicated partner in the firm's Restructuring, Disputes & Insolvency team. With over 25 years of experience in corporate reconstructions, insolvency, and commercial litigation, Dean has been a pivotal figure in numerous significant corporate reorganisations. His career began at Phillips Fox Perth, where his leadership was quickly recognised, culminating in his role as Managing Partner of Lavan Legal from February 2013. Dean's expertise is further evidenced by his collaborations with top-tier insolvency and reconstruction firms, including McGrathNicol, KordaMentha, and Deloitte, among others. His comprehensive knowledge extends to working with major financial institutions such as Westpac, St George Bank, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. These associations have honed his skills in litigation and corporate matters, making him a trusted advisor and leader in the field. Previously, Dean served as Deputy Managing Partner and was at the forefront of leading the Litigation Practice at Lavan. His role as a Director at Quadrant Advisory complements his extensive experience and adds another dimension to his professional achievements.
