Mark Leaker

Mark Leaker serves as the Director of Leaker Partners, a corporate and commercial law practice based in West Perth, Western Australia. Since founding the firm in 2001, Mark has dedicated over two decades to offering comprehensive legal services, specifically focusing on business and asset acquisitions, shareholder and joint venture agreements, and corporate governance. His extensive experience includes advising directors and senior officers across a broad spectrum of industries, enhancing their ability to navigate complex legal landscapes. Mark's career commenced with a partnership at a law firm in Adelaide, followed by a significant role as the general manager of a finance and investment company in Melbourne. His leadership capacity extends to serving as a chairman and director for various public and private companies. His legal acumen is complemented by a genuine commitment to fostering productive relationships with business owners, ensuring their legal responsibilities and opportunities are fully optimised. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Laws from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from FINSIA. Mark is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and maintains active memberships with the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and FINSIA. Aside from his professional achievements, Mark is passionate about giving back to the community. He has been actively involved with the Hawaiian Ride for Youth, contributing as a cyclist, assistant coach, and committee member for ten years.
