Rowan Meiklejohn is the Principal at Meiklejohn Legal, a firm he founded in 2022 with a vision to provide high-quality, personalised legal services. Rowan's legal journey began following his graduation from the University of Western Australia in 2011, and his admission to practice in 2012. His early career included roles at regional law firms and My Place WA, a well-regarded NDIS service provider. This experience endowed him with a deep understanding of the unique legal requirements of the disability community, particularly in estate planning. His experience in trial advocacy and family law has been pivotal in developing effective strategies for his clients. Prior to establishing his own practice, Rowan served as a lawyer at Lane Buck & Higgins, where he specialised primarily in family law, refining his skills in legal representation and client advocacy. Rowan is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia, staying connected with the broader legal community. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about the ocean, reflecting his balanced approach to life and work.
