Shayla Meiklejohn

Shayla Meiklejohn is a partner at Meiklejohn Legal with a legal career beginning in 2009, admitted to practise in both Australia and New Zealand. Her diverse experience includes working in large metropolitan firms, regional practices, and not-for-profit organisations, providing her with a broad perspective on legal matters. Shayla is particularly dedicated to estate planning, focusing on creating strategies that ease the burden on families during challenging times. She also offers clear, practical advice on employment and small business issues, ensuring her clients receive tailored solutions that meet their needs. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Otago. In 2023, Shayla further advanced her expertise by completing an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Neuroscience and Business with Distinction at the University of New England.
