Kelly Gatehouse

Kelly Gatehouse is the Principal Lawyer and Director of Nurture Law, a firm she founded to transform the experience of estate law with an approach that prioritises clarity, compassion, and modernity. Her drive stems from a career in top-tier firms where she was recognised as a prominent estate lawyer in Australia. Kelly's practice is deeply rooted in kindness, integrity, and open communication, ensuring clients receive transparent guidance, especially regarding pricing. Her upbringing in a small family business instilled the value of legacy, which she passionately helps clients protect. Throughout her career, Kelly has held influential roles such as President of the Logan & Scenic Rim Law Association Inc. and Secretary of STEP QLD Branch. Her legal journey includes leadership as a Senior Associate at Turner Freeman Lawyers and McInnes Wilson Lawyers, where she gained extensive experience. Earlier, she refined her skills at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, advancing from a Legal Assistant to an Associate over more than a decade. Kelly's academic background is as impressive as her professional one. She holds a Master of Laws, with a major in Wills and Estates, from The College of Law Australia, complementing her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Southern Queensland. She also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia and holds a Bachelor of Justice from QUT. When not practising law, Kelly enjoys camping, travelling, and spending quality time with her family.
