Simon Wood

Simon Wood is a Melbourne-based law graduate currently employed as a Graduate Solicitor at Phillips & Wilkins Solicitors. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from RMIT University in February 2024 and completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law in October 2024. Prior to joining Phillips & Wilkins, Simon gained over two years of experience as a Paralegal with the North Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Service in Darwin, where he developed a strong foundation in legal research and client engagement. Simon brings excellent communication and problem-solving skills to his legal practice, drawing on his diverse background in the entertainment and events sectors, as well as customer service and retail roles. He is committed to working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to achieve practical and effective outcomes. Outside of his legal career, Simon is an accomplished musician, drum teacher, and producer. He performs in several bands, including the Melbourne Flamenco-Fusion band Malcura, reflecting his creative and dynamic approach both professionally and personally.
