Baraa Saddiq

Baraa Saddiq, Principal Partner, developed a profound understanding of the legal system early in his career, starting as a court transcriber. This experience allowed him to observe and contribute to the justice system from a unique perspective. His commitment to social justice was further exemplified through his volunteer work with the Aboriginal Legal Service, where he provided invaluable assistance to clients facing criminal charges, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Under the mentorship of a notable senior advocate and former police prosecutor, Baraa honed his expertise in criminal law, engaging in significant cases across various courts, including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeal, and the High Court of Australia. His legal acumen extends to family law, where he effectively represents clients in matters such as consent parenting orders, contested children issues, complex relocation cases, and financial agreements involving large asset pools.
