Liat Ofri

Liat Ofri was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Before joining Timpano Legal, Liat served as a principal of a private law firm, where she worked extensively in criminal, traffic, and restraining order matters. She has represented clients across various Western Australian courts, including the Children’s Court, Magistrates Court, and District Court. Liat has significant experience in trial representation, as well as in sentencing and bail hearings. Liat is known for achieving favourable outcomes through effective negotiation with prosecutors, always prioritising the best interests of her clients. Her approach is grounded in empathy, compassion and honesty, ensuring clients receive support throughout their legal matters. She is actively involved in professional organisations such as the Law Society of Western Australia and the Criminal Lawyers Association of WA. Outside of work, Liat enjoys spending time with her children, keeping fit at the gym, socialising with friends, and watching crime television series.
