Ben Harris

Ben Harris is a Partner at Willis & Bowring, where he oversees the Property & Commercial division, bringing over 20 years of experience in property and commercial law. Admitted as a solicitor in 2004, Ben has a robust background, having worked with firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and various mid-tier law firms in Sydney, before joining Willis & Bowring in 2018. His extensive expertise encompasses all facets of real estate transactions. Ben provides comprehensive advice on the sale and purchase of commercial, retail, and industrial properties, including greenfield site development. He adeptly handles lease transactions across commercial, retail, and industrial domains, and is proficient in the preparation and registration of subdivisions, easements, and covenants. His skills extend to the preparation of strata scheme by-laws and handling retirement village contracts and aged care agreements, alongside residential conveyancing. Beyond property, Ben is well-versed in planning and development issues, the sale and purchase of businesses, and drafting and advising on general commercial agreements. His knowledge spans loan and security documentation, along with conducting rigorous due diligence investigations. He began his distinguished career at Owen Hodge Lawyers, following his completion of a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from UNSW.
