Nicole Ooi

Nicole Ooi is a Senior Associate with 1878 Elix Lawyers, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. A graduate of the University of Adelaide, Nicole is committed to performing meaningful work that positively impacts people's lives. Before joining the firm as a graduate, she spent two years volunteering at a local community legal centre. During this time, she assisted with a broad range of legal matters and played a crucial role in organising community events, including Sorry Day 2019. Nicole has developed a keen interest in commercial, civil, and probate law through her academic achievements and volunteering experience. Her studies also took her to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she studied Chinese Law. Nicole's linguistic skills, including fluency in Mandarin, Hokkien, and Malay, further enhance her ability to serve diverse clients effectively. Outside of her legal career, Nicole enjoys baking, experimenting with new recipes, and painting, demonstrating her creativity and attention to detail in all areas of her life.
