Chrissie Macken

Chrissie Macken brings over two decades of expertise to her role as a solicitor, focusing primarily on employment law. She provides insightful advice to both employees and employers across diverse sectors, including banking, finance, education, energy, local and state government, and not-for-profit organisations. Chrissie is known for her strategic approach to problem-solving, dedicated to understanding her clients' priorities and crafting tailored solutions. Her toolkit includes a thorough cost-benefit analysis to ensure that the outcomes are both practical and advantageous. After obtaining her Arts (Hons) and Law degrees from the University of Melbourne, Chrissie was admitted to practice in November 1992. Her career began with a stint as a Research Officer and Organiser for an industrial organisation, after which she joined A.J. Macken & Co. Further enriching her professional journey, Chrissie has shared her knowledge of employment law with postgraduate students in a Practical Training Course, nurturing the next generation of legal professionals.
