Roland Day

Roland Day serves as the Solicitor Director and Trial Advocate at his firm, leveraging his extensive background in both legal and military disciplines. Initially embarking on his career at the Royal Military College Duntroon as an officer cadet, he further honed his skills as a police officer with New South Wales Police. During this time, he gained valuable experience in general duties and investigations, with a strong emphasis on prosecutorial work. Transitioning to the legal field, Roland became a prominent criminal defence solicitor, eventually advancing to the role of Principal Solicitor for a major community legal service in New South Wales. His notable career path continued with his 2001 appointment as a Magistrate for the State of New South Wales. In 2003, he took on the role of Manager at Marsdens Law Group, overseeing the Criminal Practice across six offices in Sydney. Roland's entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the General Manager and Solicitor Director of Intercept Group Pty Ltd, trading as INTERCEPT LAW in 2004. Concurrently, he directed a private training company, where he managed organisational aspects, lectured on legal matters, and provided advisory services on employment and occupational health and safety issues to major businesses. In 2014, Roland founded ABSOLVE LEGAL in Wallsend, with a mission to deliver quality legal services and advice across New South Wales. His consistent recognition as a Best Lawyer by peers from 2019 to 2025 underscores his respected status in the legal community. Roland's dual qualifications as a Solicitor and a Barrister complement his remarkable career, underscoring his dedication to the legal profession.
